San Luis Obispo 5, Lompoc 2

After posting an impressive 27 runs in two scrimmages, about the only thing the girls hit Friday - was a dry spell at the plate. Unfortunately, they had some fielding problems too. Together it equaled a 5-2 loss to the Tigers.

The limited hitting was done by Sierra Lujano (2/3), Dominique Oatis (2/4), and sub April Tuomi (2/2).

Cera Mitchell started in the circle and gave up four runs, but only one was earned. She surrenderred 3 walks to go with 4 strike-outs in her three innings, before handing the ball to #1 pitcher Jasmine Taylor. Taylor went four innings, struck out four, allowed one unearned run and a double, and walked nobody. The girls leave in Saturday morning for a tournament in Nipomo.
