Nathalia Powell pitched the first three games (AG, Rig., DP), compiling a 2-1 record and allowing 5 runs. Kaylie Chard relieved her in the DP game and surrendered 3 runs late. Powell got the win versus PV, and Chard worked the win over Nipomo.
Then came the San Marcos game - the Conqs crushed the Royals 24-0 with 16 runs in the fourth and 3 more in the fifth and last inning. Both pitchers saw time with Powell getting the win.

Powell threw both games in the Nipomo double-header. In the opener she had 14 strike-outs, and only 1 walk in the complete game shutout. Cami Files had a homer in the second, and the team drew "lots of walks" according to Coach Abiyari. In Game 2, Powell gave up 1 hit (a triple), walked 1, and recorded 8 strike-outs. Ashala Martin scored three runs, and the Titans again helped out with several walks as Cabrillo pushed across 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th ininng to win via 'mercy rule' 11-1.

Up 9-1, with Crystal Lopez on 1st and nobody out, Ashala Martin slapped a single through the infield -1st & 2nd, still nobody out. Powell drilled a corkscrew grounder that the second-baseman couldn't handle - bases loaded, no outs. Beth Radabaugh's single to right brought 1 run home, and left runners on the corners, with, you guessed it, Nooo-body out. Kayla Silver entered to pinchrun for Radabaugh, and watched as Brittany Kelly lifted one deep. After the catch, Silver lit out for second, drawing an off-the-mark throw and allowing Powell to score from third. Up 10, bottom of the fifth - GAME.
